45 large is more than twice what I would pay ,, if I had it ,, at 15 ,, it would probably sell ,, people are losing their minds on asking prices

It's a nice truck. But I wouldn't spend anywhere near that much. I like my trucks to be 4wd anyways lol.

Re: Someone in Idaho needs to buy this, hurry!!

He may have read the book value, but missed the deductions for
"if bolted this on, deduct $??"
"if bolted on that, deduct even more $??"

I don't care for it, but asking price aside. Its a dang nice truck.
Picture that truck without the grille protector, without the bug deflector, without the running boards, without the camper, without the spot lights, without the chrome side window visors, without the GVW emblem attached to the fender, without the mudflaps, without the front hitch and maybe without the big step rear bumper.
THEN it would be a very nice truck... just look at that box floor...
The cab lights and the spare tank door(s) would still ruin it for me. But I could see where those things wouldn't bother some 3/4t lovers.
Nice truck, but not worth anywhere close to that for me.

Re: Someone in Idaho needs to buy this, hurry!!

I agree stripped of a lot of the accessories it would be very nice truck, but with no A/C a hard sell. I wonder if the 8000lb. GVW Plate on the Fenders is screwed on, that would be a shame as the fender would need repainting to fix the holes properly. Does anyone know what the Aqua coloured canister on the passenger side of the motor does, looks like some kind of emissions thing to me.

Re: Someone in Idaho needs to buy this, hurry!!

Gotta love the dealer option apocalypse zombie guard on the front. I was wondering about the fender placard as well, hopefully just stuck on with 3M double sided tape. It is a super clean, well optioned truck, but he is pretty high on the price with all the "accessories" on it. Clean all that stuff off and try again.

After all the other stuff he has screwed onto the body (running boards, bug deflector, spot lights) do you really think he would use double stick tape? LOL
He probably used marine grade stainless steel screws so they would last forever.

I'm thinking it's "water injection", it was popular in the 70s. Guessing this because it looks like it's tied into the PCV manifold vacuum.

That's a very nice truck, underneath all the add ons.

Kelly Blue Book is worthless and means squat, unless you are trading in a late model vehicle for a new one.

Re: Someone in Idaho needs to buy this, hurry!!

There has got to be a typo in the price. At least I hope so. If not then best of luck to the seller, though he may be holding onto his beloved truck longer than he imagined.
