Question Instrument cluster Printed Circuit

I could not get my dash to work After I played around with it I figure that the circuit board was bad. Pickup a new one for 30.00 dollars from this guy that sell used parts. Well I put it on And it was to long, about 1 1/2 inches. It will install with a bow in the middle, because the board is flexible, Lights now work.
QUESTION, were these seconds ?, Are they all like this ? It was a counterpart item. I was told because of copyright or what ever, that they can't reproduce the exact item. ??? Anyone else run into this issue ?? Thanks

Maybe he gave you a printed circuit for a tach cluster, They are a little longer. Does it have a cutout in the middle?

Re: Instrument cluster Printed Circuit

You are right, The board must go around the back of the tach. That Make sense . Thank you for clearing that up.

Here is a picture of my circuit board for a example. Ignore the wiring, I switched to a volt meter because of a new wiring harness.
