Welp, got all my new parts on..looks NICE!
I will post pics in the morning, as it's 3:30am right now I worked off an on all day today and swapped out a few different things:
-Pulled the Carb off and changed my EGR valve, and put a block-off plate in it's place. Looks 100x cleaner! I also put a new carb base gasket on it (because my other one had a big restrictive piece on it.) -Pulled the valve covers and cleaned the head rails, and put on my new chrome edelbrock valve covers with my new Moroso EVAC system. -Pulled my water neck and put my new chrome water neck on. (Also, in doing this, I found out why my truck never heats up..I've been running all this time with NO THERMOSTAT!! So, I dropped a 180º one in.) I will spend the better half of the day 2moro polishing up all the chrome and making some spark plug wire looms (using zip ties; I really like the way those look.) I will also go down and pick up an O² Sensor, and get back to tuning the carb a little more (Since I've put on a Holley Power Shot Air Filter as well as a different carb base gasket.) I will officially report 2moro if all my leaks are gone (*Crosses my fingers*) |

My father's 60's Camaro that he had came without a thermostat... He couldn't figure out why his car kept overheating (face it, its hard to have a light food with that freaking powerful of a car...) he ended up taking it to the dealer where they couldn't figure out what was wrong, so he looked again and found it didn't have a thermo stat from the factory! He replaced it, and never had a problem with it again...

I'll post em today. I'm finally up early enough that the sun is still shining, and it's not too hot, so I can polish the chrome pieces up and snap some pix. I need to make some wire looms beforehand though, so my spark plug wires don't look so stupid.
