Question 62 c20 Hubcaps

A few threads have shown that the 3/4 hubcaps were like this, could someone please confirm?

Another option are these but if I remember correctly they weren't for 62:

Re: 62 c20 Hubcaps

Just picked these up. My spare had clips but the current rims have bumps. Hope they work

Re: 62 c20 Hubcaps

The C10 or 1/2 ton wheels came with nubs in 15" using a hubcap with 10 3/16" inner diameter.
The C10 also had wheels with clips for 15",16"and 17.5" which used a hubcap with 7 5/8" inner diameter.
The C20/30 or 3/4 & 1 ton single wheels came in 17.5" & 19.5" wheels with clips. They used the 8 7/8 inner diameter.

Thanks for the info! I'm assuming someone replaced the originals with the C10 wheels since only the spare had clips. I guess I'll know in a few days

Re: 62 c20 Hubcaps

Does your truck have 6 lug or 8 lug wheels?
A C20 should have 8 lugs.
You might consider posting a picture of your wheels. They are probably from a later model.

They are 8s. I don't have a good pic, I'll take one when I get home though. This is the only pic I have atm.

I will say that having looking at that pic and especially the rears, it doesn't look like those caps will work.

Re: 62 c20 Hubcaps

What you have are late model bump type wheels that were introduced in 1969, it appears only the clip wheel spare is original. Original 3/4 ton '62 hubcaps (back side opening approx. 8 3/4") only fit pre '69 clip type 8 lug rims, unless you add clips to your newer rims.http://www.laroke.com/larryk4674/smo...er/hubcaps.htm
