82 Stepside questions

Hey guys, I'm about to buy an 82 stepside. It was an original non air I6 truck. What transmission and rear end/gears would it have?

Thanks! I'm getting stoked to be owning my first step side and having a square body again!

Re: 82 Stepside questions

If its an automatic...

TH350C with a 2.73 rear end

I have an 82 stepside Silverado myself with a 350 (stock was 305) with that setup.

Nice, thanks!
I guess the TH350C was a lockup, correct?

It has a 350 engine now, supposedly.

You'd be correct sir.
The lockup is very likely disabled however.
