72 402 and AC items

ALL SOLD Thanks for looking!

I just finished an LS swap on my 72 Suburban. I ended up with a few extra parts that I had intended to store for a rainy day. Well I'm already tired of tripping over it all. So listing it here to see if anyone wants any of it.

I have 2 402 bare blocks. One needs bored, other needs a sleeve in cyl 7.

This is the block that needs a sleeve the other has the same suffix code

They both have the same casting numbers,

Here is the reason the first block needs a sleeve. Casting flaw...

To go with these blocks, I have the following

2 cast cranks, one needs turned other needs polish
16 Pistons and Rods, 15 rod caps....(one was missing off of second engine)

2 pair of heads, I'll provide the casting numbers later, stock round port.

1 pair of Valve Covers
1 Pan
1 stock intake
1 Rochester 4BBL
1 Starter ( newer reman )
1 Alternator
1 AC Compressor

I also installed vintage air, and have the underhood and underdash AC/Heater items. I retained the indash control, but all cables are there and covers are in great shape. Lines from compressor to the condensor, to the evap. I will provide pictures of that as well.

I would like to sell the engine items as a whole, package deal $600, as far as the AC goes, I would like $200 for the AC items as a package deal.

I live in Central Illinois, prefer local pick up, but I am willing to meet you with in reason, I'll travel your direction if it helps.

Thank you,
Brad

Brad can you tell me what numbers are stamped on the carb and how the throttle shafts feel?

Sure will, I'll grab it tonight and check it out.

I have this pic of it on the engine. It seems to possibly be a Olds/Pontiac carb. Reason I say that is the front style gas line hook up, most trucks I've messed with are side gas line ( at least the 78-79's I've messed with )

Bowtieguy79, by chance are you going to the Goodguys show in Columbus, OH next month? I would be interested in your engine package deal, but I live in Northeast TN.

Here are a couple pictures. Also the shaft has little to no slop, pretty tight. It worked well, even the choke was happy.

I took a video of me wiggling the throttle shaft, it's uploading.

Re: 72 402 and AC items

Brad thanks for the carb pics. Looks like it is original to a 76-77
454 gm truck. I'm wanting 72 specific. I would try the square body parts forum I bet somebody there could use it. Thanks.

bowtieguy79 --

I'm definitely interested.
Was this working when removed?
Is it a complete setup? If not, what is missing?

Thanks!!

It was intact before I removed it. I vac'd down the system and it would not hold vacuum. It is missing the indash control only. The rest is there. Less the T's that go to the rear ac, as stated before.

Well, I have the indash control, so that's covered.

Does this include all the brackets to attach to the engine?

Or is it just the plumbing itself but not the hardware

Sorry for all the questions, just trying to clarify

Thanks again

Mark

I have the brackets for compressor etc.... , bolts... there is a pile of bolts... lol so no to the bolts. The compressor might as well go to, at least be a solid core for a new one.

Let me gather it all up and make a list of what is there, and get a good photo of each piece tomorrow. We have baseball tonight and tomorrow morning.

Did you use the 72 engine frame stands for your swap? If not, for sale?
