New 84' K10 Long Bed and New Plans
Hey guys, I've always been a "yota" guy, but I figured I'd share my new truck and my plans for it. It's an 84 K10 Silverado long bed. It's got a newly rebuilt 355 with a tow cam and a rebuilt 700r4 transmission with commercial clutch packs. It's got a rebuilt 208 transfer case as well. I purchased the truck to tow my hunting/fishing boat around and to ride on my hunting land and some trails here in North Carolina. I also got it just to have something to work on before I get married
My plans are to lift it 6 inches and put it on 35's. After that, I plan on swapping the axles and gears out and going to 37's eventually. I also want it to be a little louder and allow the engine to breathe a little better (its got stock manifolds and a new stock exhaust). For now, I am enjoying it just the way it is. I plan on buying the lift/tires this week (perks of working at a tire shop) |

Yea man, I couldn't pass it up. I'd been looking for a way out of the Toyota world and this was it. The truck is in great shape!

Well if its super clean like you say, i'd leave it stock. It'll be worth some bucks one day original. There's plenty of mud trucks already done up on the list. I think it looks killer as it is!

To run 37s you need 1 ton axles and a np205,I'd leave it alone and find a 1 ton truck to build up.
