Roll fender on 71 fleet
Simple
Can you roll these fenders? I can get a fender roller from a guy but he said the older fenders are dbl sheeted and might be too strong..

I would have to guess that he is correct. Those fender rollers were intended for the recycled beer can fenders on the newer cars. Not some good old American steel that came out of one of our now gone steel mills.

that is what I've used in the past 30years or so to get some clearance Louisville sluggers work good the wood ones not the aluminium

use a jack and jack up the truck on the frame, not suspension until you can fit the bat between the tire and fender. Hint, use a jack that you can easily control the decent like a bottle jack. "Roll the bat along the tire using it as leverage to start rolling the lip of the fender up. Do this a few times, go slow, were slowly rolling the fender lip up. When you can't get any more leverage from that position slightly lower on he jack (take the bat out first) and roll some more. Keep rolling and lowering slowly until you receive the desired effect.
