weather strip
Anyone have a clue as to where this weatherstrip goes if anywhere at all. PO had it under the metal carpet hold down at the tailgate. Pretty sure its wrong. Reminds me of the old strip that goes along the floor and at the door and sill plate. Has a metal strip inside it. Guess's anyone ????

Re: weather strip
Yeah it does looks like some generic garage door weatherstrip or such. But it is a good idea to put something like that to help seal at bottom of tailgate to keep a lot of dust (I ride a lot of gravel roads) & exhaust fumes out.

Re: weather strip
Kind of looks like the piece that seals out the cowl over the windshield wipers from the engine bay.

Re: weather strip
I suppose it could be used like that but I've replaced that piece already.
