tilt gear pointer ?
Okay I got my tilt in today from the Famous Teeitup used parts ,Which by the way is a GREAT person to deal with, but the gear pointer is broken flush with the housing . Randy told me it was so I have no problem with that but I cant get that piece out of there any suggestions. PLEASE HELP!!!!

I would drill a hole in the plastic and insert a sheet metal screw or wood screw into it so you can grab hold of something. If a regular drill motor is too large than use a pin vise with a 1/16" drill bit in it. It should take very little effort to pull out the stub.
You may have to remove the indicator housing for clearance. Good luck! Jim |
