Road Trip!!

I just bought a 72 suburban, pretty descent condition but not many options, has a really clean interior and got it from the original owner, leaving tomorrow after work for Golden Colorado, wish me luck.

Blazerman,

Nice looking Burb!

They always look so big. Can you find out if that is an original spare tire cover? I would be real interested to know.

great find

1/2 ton, 4x4, original owner, cherry interior w/ 3rd seat, bone stocker. Doesn't get much better than that. Welcome to suburban ownership. New patch panels available although I might be tempted to do local spot repairs and be looking good!!

Good price too.

Just got off work and got the van loaded up, just drove a little over 400 miles on my route today so another 700 should be FUN, cant pick the burb up till 3PM on saturday so were headed for canon city to see the Royal Gorge and then on to Golden. The owner thinks it should have no problems making the trip, he just said bring lots of money for gas, I WONDER what he meant by that?

1970blazin, I got it for 4,050 , I dont think I got hurt to bad on it, it's 1 owner with 68,000 actual miles.

CPNE, I think I'll just drive it the way it is for awhile, my wife say's no more lift kits..LOL

JimKshortstep4x4, I'll take a pic of the cover for you when I get back.

Joesjunk, I had forgot all about the show till you mentioned it, hate to miss it but I need to get this thing home.

yellow72custom, I think I'll just drive it till I can get the wife to cave in on a lift kit, I would like to go with a 2-1/2"lift with a set of 33s on rallys.

Kevin, Man I felt bad about waking you up last nite, I forgot how early you ole country folk go to bed. Bring that truck by when you get a chance I've been itchin to see it.

Rob, I got a set of rallys down here if you want them. Maybe that will help you get that lift kit. You better take alot of cash for gas, if your burb is like mine old was, 6-7 MPG.

That is one nice burb. I think you got a very nice low mile rig and well worth the price. Congrats.
