Another Timing Light
I know this has been asked many times, but a quick search didn't yield what I was looking for.
Since my old timing light has gone the way of the Dodo bird I'm in need of a good reliable advancing timing light. After reading many reviews I'm leaning to the Innova-equus 3568, but I'm worried about the negative reviews: 1) Will it work on 8.8mm wire? Some reviewers state that it won't. 2) There are many reviews about long term reliability. It seems that after a few uses it dies, and Innova isn't backing their product. Any thoughts? Suggestions for a better advancing timing light? Thanks in advance. |

Re: Another Timing Light
After looking at their video, it looks like it will fit on your 8.8mm wires
I cant speak for the reliability. I have never used one. I have a 10 year old craftsman pro timing light. It has a dial for the advance setting, and its not digital. It works great. It might only get used once a month though. It looks like the ones made in 60s/70s. |

Re: Another Timing Light
I've got one from Ferret I bought almost 20 years ago. It has yet to let me down. Tach advance with digital readout and a nice case to store it in. It does fit 8.8 wires too
