Smoothie steel wheel color help

I just received my new steel wheels and whitewall tires. Any color ideas maybe pictures would help. I'm thinking about red but that's been done a thousand times over.
Maybe tan???

My truck is a 63 short step. Semigloss black

This is my first post. Any input would help!

Hugger orange would look sharp and go with the satin black.

Re: Smoothie steel wheel color help

Might not be too bad. Pearl hugger orange. What would that look like with a whitewall? I can't find anything on the web. All seen is red and green. Maybe a root beer bronze

Re: Smoothie steel wheel color help

I want to say pearl white would look good, but probably not with white walls. I vote for orange. I've heard of people "Plasti-dipping" there wheels, they make lots of wild colors. I don't really know if that's cost effective versus paint if you don't end up liking the colors. A repaint isn't all that hard if you end up hating whatever color you pick....

Re: Smoothie steel wheel color help

I'm leaning towards an off white cream. Something to match my bamboo bed cover.
And maybe a tan/cream surf shop logo on the door.

What are your thoughts on E/T Streets with painted whitewalls on the rear?

I'm liking it. I think I'll go with some rendition of tan.
I'll post pics when they're on. If I don't like them I can always do a repaint.
But I think the tan will work

Not to side track your thread, but how did you construct it?

Re: Smoothie steel wheel color help

I built the frame out of 1x1 then nailed the strips to it. I have a piece of aluminum angle across the front and down the sides. The stepside bed has an overhang across the front. It sits just under that and won't come up unless the back is up. And I have slide latches on the back. I'm still working on lift supports for it. I took the bed floor out and don't want to put one back so this works.

Re: Smoothie steel wheel color help

Are there any other options short of the $500 Firestone cheaters for performance whitewalls
