WTB Fuel line

Any one have an original fuel line for small block with Rochester Quadrajet?
I need the one that runs from the fuel pump to the carb.

Re: WTB Fuel line

I have never found a good original one. They all either had rounded off nuts or had been cut for inline filters.

I bought one from inline tube for around $30

Re: WTB Fuel line

They are little different on the bottoms, ie 2wd / 4wd - A/C or NON-AC. What do you have? Got a picture?

Re: WTB Fuel line

My truck is a 1968, C/10, 327, Turbo 400, Power Steering, Non A/C.
The Carb line on my truck has been cut like most to fit an in line filter.

I have seen pics here on the board of uncut Carb lines, and the one that I think is correct for my truck...
Comes up from the pump runs just above the intake pass the carb toward the rear of engine, then makes a uturn and comes back to the Carb

The factory line would not go toward the rear of the carb and then back to the fitting where the fuel filter is. I have never seen this on any Chevy truck.

The line you need will depend on AC and no AC. The reason for this is the fuel pump will have a can on it with air and no can, without air.

On the carb side the line runs back along the intake and does a 90 degree bend and goes directly into the carb.

I will check on some and get back with you. It is hard to find the originals that have not been cut or kinked but they are out there.

Take care,
Tom
