Is this a chevy buddy bucket seat bracket?
My friend found this at a swap meet. He told it was the correct bracket.
Everything lines up and fits, but my bracket has a curve. And this one is straight. He paid $200 for it. Did different factories use different brackets. Or did he get ripped off.

Dodge frame, worth about $20...unless it bolts right into your floor pattern. The seats will fit to the frame, but the floor bolt pattern is different. The only straight bar frame I have seen fit is one from a 66 gmc

What year Dodge? It looks nothing like the 1978 dodge bracket.

Does it fit the floor pattern of a 67-72 Chevy truck?

Re: Is this a chevy buddy bucket seat bracket?
The Chevy and dodge seat frames are the same the foam is different. I've rebuilt a few for my neighbor and he has found a local machine shop to reproduce the Chevy seat cross frame and brackets for $80.00 and I've been reupholstering the Dodge sets to the Chevy look from my old patterns .

Re: Is this a chevy buddy bucket seat bracket?
The seat frames are the same...the floor "frame" or "bracket" is different. If the frame bolts to the floor correctly then it is probably from a 66 gmc, but in any event if it fits who cares? That is the bottom line

Re: Is this a chevy buddy bucket seat bracket?
Ok then. On Chevy brackets, when installing the console first, does the bolt go to the front of the truck or the back.
