Hood Prop for a 41-46

What are you using to hold the hood open on your trucks???

You're in the wrong sub-forum.

That said, when I had my '46 I DID'NT "prop" it. It laid back on itself and as long as I was gentle with it there was no paint damage, etc.

Early dodge had some hood props that mount on the round bar supports that run from firewall to grill shroud. They close flat when not in use.

add $0.25 for a nos rubber tip

Thanks folks for the input, I did look at some hood props for a 30's Ford that bolted to the rad to cowl support rods
