Thanks To You All
I wrote a small thank you note in my build thread, but I don't know that everyone frequents the builds, and I think it's nice for visitors or even casual members to know how amazing the people on this site are. I just finished a year long frame off of a 1970 Blazer and I could not have done it without all of you. This board and the outstanding members that make it up have been an invaluable source of information, inspiration and support. Some of you provide almost daily correspondence, feedback and encouragement...Pete, Dwayne, Mike, Tom, Tim, Jim, Steven, Eddie, Dave...the list is long. But to anyone who helped me with parts, or figure out when the truck was built, or how something should look, or told us Good Job....I want to tell you how much I appreciate it.
So to you, and to the vendors (both local and on this site) who helped make this happen... Re: Thanks To You All
You're right I've dealt with a lot of the people on your list and they are awesome. Very nice build.

Re: Thanks To You All
I think you should be proud of the job you did. I was impressed at what was done in a small space. You restored it completely and the attention to detail is very impressive. Great job!!!

Re: Thanks To You All
Thanks. I love driving it..though I must confess it's short trips (enough to get it up to temp) then wipe down. I was amazed at how quiet it was. With the factory style single exhaust...and with the top off you could effortlessly carry on a conversation at highway speed. Just super fun and easy. With the top on she's a little more...shall we say B-17ish? Just needs a touch more on the volume knob. But she drives tight and easy..just like a new one.
Thanks...I am. But as we all know it's not the size, but how you use it.

Re: Thanks To You All
Came out so good. I like how you didn't do anything crazy to it (ie. Big motor, Big tires, Big lift...) and kept it simple, but yet it looks BADD. SUPER CLEAN!!!

Re: Thanks To You All
Thanks. I'm glad you like it...surprisingly it's exactly what I envisioned, only (and kinda more surprisingly to me) better in reality.
