Not sure how f the year door, but 81 and above sounds right to me. It is just flipped so it opens up.

Looks like they cut it out spun it around like that and welded it back on.

That install has just done what the body wanted it to do. Everyone is talking about it. Good job of installing it, though.

Reminds me of the lowrider mini-trucks that had license plates frenched into their tailgates crooked.

They do make weld in different shape gas doors for street rods.I have seen them tear drop shape to even chevy bow tie before.
