Finally got someting done I have been putting off
About a year ago, I picked up a Duplicolor bedliner kit for my truck. Not so much for the bed, but I wanted to make my truck a black on bottom 2-tone. Being that my tires tend to throw larger stones up than usual I decided the roll-on bedliner would be a good way to get the color scheme I want with the benefit of a tougher coating to stand up to stones and whatnot better. I also had some surface rust issues at the bottoms of the doors.. So today I finally did it..
I sanded it down, primed, then applied 2 coats of bedliner to the bottom of the body and bed rails. I almost had enough to re-coat the inside of the box too... Came up just short. Here in this pic you can see the surface rust. Here it is with primer done. Couple pics after first coat of bedliner.. And now a couple shots with the job complete.. Also did a little touching up on several spot on the white. I was having a hard time getting a good pic, due to the bright sunshine today. But I am very happy with how it turned out. Truck looks worlds better than it did.
