Radeator to low

Will my radeator being this low put it at risk of being damaged by rode debree? Do you think I should raise it to it's stock location?

Re: Radeator to low

Show how you lowered it. I was thinking of doing the same thing to mine.
Maybe even making a larger custom radiator.

Re: Radeator to low

That is how the aftermarket radeator mounted. I think the holes are in the wrong spot on the side brackets. It is a 62 so the height of the radeator is determined by where the holes are drilled on the side mounts.

should not be a problem at all just make sure you run a fan shroud to get proper cooling and what radiator is that ? brand and model number ?

Re: Radeator to low

You'll be ok. Just remember that you'll have the lower portion of the header panel covering the lower tank and you'll have a bumper in front of that.

Re: Radeator to low

You can make a skid panel to cover that. But it should be fine.

It is a US Radiator I don't have the model# but if you go on there websight it is the 60-62 c10 double row aluminum radiator with the built in trans cooler.

Will those block the flow of air and cause cooling issues?

Re: Radeator to low

Shouldn't be a problem as some HD radiators mount to the lower portion of the front cross member.
