build sheet question

anyone know where the factory put the build sheets in our trucks. I have a 69 with low miles that i bought from the original owner that i think probably has the build sheet in it still. Just don't know where to look

Thanks

David

I found mine under the seat smashed up there. I also found one in the glovebox. People have found them all over the place, but i would guess that the factory put them in the glovebox, or under the seat.
Hope this helps!

Don't you mean behind the gas tank cover andy? :p Under the seat seems to be the most common place, and I think I heard someone had found one under their carpet. Or maybe that's Mopar that I'm thinking of, they were good for that.

I had a 69 built at the Fremont, California plant and found mine behind the gas tank cover taped to the gas tank.

Hmm...if I didn't have to drive my truck to my new job tomorrow, I'd pull my fuel tank....oh well

You're driving it? I thought it was unsafe? (or is it unsafe AND you're driving it?)
