Look at the top of the drivers side frame just behind the steering box for a number, the label on the inside of the glove box door and title. Those three numbers should match the VIN number on the plate inside drivers door jam. If not, someone has replaced either the cab or frame or something else.

It's a Chevy right? If so.. You have a 1970 model that was titled as a 1969. This is no big deal as it happens all the time. The 1970 model year ran from Sept. 1969 to June/July of 1970. Lot's of 1970 model year trucks that were built and sold in the actual year 1969 got titled as 1969s. The owner believes he has a 1969 because that's what's on his title/registration. But the truck is in fact a 1970. Again it's no big deal, nothing to worry about. Just make sure the vin on the title matches the number on the vin plate.

Yep..your good. Just make sure the vin plate matches the title vin. If you want also check to make sure that the VIN on the glove box option sticker matches also. You will also find a partial vin on the frame. It should be 0Z113396. The partial Frame location is shown in the pic below.
