Need help on pitman arm

So I bought a quick steer gear box from LMC truck. The old gear box had a nut on the side of the pitman arm where it linked to the steering gear box. This new one take a bolt on the bottom. The pitman arm has a hole at the end where it link to the drag link. I am looking for a pitman arm that has about a 3" drop, a solid end on the gear box side and a hole in the other end to fit the drag link. Where can I find one?

Gm used two different steering boxes 4x4 and 2wd,The extra bolt you have on the side of the pitman arm was only on the 4x4s the 2wd used just the bolt on the bottom.The good news sounds like you have a 2wd box and most aftermarket steering kits use those so you can upgrade later on.Talk to http://offroaddesign.com/catalog.htm they got you covered

I got it now. Turns out I have a 2WD box on my 4WD truck. Is there an issue with that? i use it to go to Home Depot and tow my jet ski....never take it offroad.

As long as you get the right pitman arm your fine.Most of the lifted square body trucks you see use a 2wd steering box.

There's an issue! The pitman arm is different between the two, to correspond with the sector shaft which is different between the two. Two wheel drive boxes are used with cross over steering in four wheel drive apps.
