88 k5 4wd to 2wd conversion pics???
I'm looking for pics to possibly convert mine. Ive done some searches and I have seen frame swaps but nothing showing a suspension swap. If anyone has a link I'd appreciate it. Before you say just find a 81-82 2wd....I've tried finding one of those too. None in my area.

You're missing the green truck aren't you? Don't blame you, that thing was sweet.

Only pics I have.. In the process of bagging my 74 the frame was screwed so we replaced the factory 2wd frame with one from a 4wd.

Actually the early Porterbilt cross members were built by SuicideDoors and sold through Porterbilt from what I was told. However Porterbilt has gone through over the years and updated their cross members and are building their own now. I know that when I called SuicideDoors because I needed to know what hears to use they said to use whatever was recommended on Porterbilts website. |

Nate Porter designed and built the original DROPMEMBER. He’s still in business making quality C10 parts and chassis’. All the rest on the market are different versions of his ORIGINAL IDEA. Porterbuilt changed the bagged c10 game. Let’s give him the credit for that.
