Ok so what am I missing? Truck won't crank

I turn the key and nothing happens. It doesn't crank, click, nothing. The BRAKE light on the dash comes on when I turn the key like normal but nothing happens. Iv got my radio, lights, wipers, but no motor. Starter is good, just replaced the ignition switch. I got a new neutral safety switch but I can't get it back in the hole. I take it out and mess with uninstalled, but still won't crank. Am I just over looking something simple, or over my head.
