Talking ChubTubz - Shortened rear wheel tubs for slammed trucks

"CHUB Tubz!"

******

These will work with 67-72 as well as the 73-87 C10s. They can also be used on the 60-66 C10s but some minor fiberglass work will have to be done. Let me know if you have any questions.

******

These fiberglass tubs have been widened 1" and sectioned 4" for an overall height of 7.5". They fit the footprint of the factory tubs other than the bed floor modifications required when you install wider tubs. They were meant to be installed up against the top of the bed rail and the body line on the tub matches the body line on the inner bed panel (the contour in to fit the way the inner bed panel comes in at the top by the bed rail). They can be used for wood or steel floor, you will just have to raise the floor accordingly.

These are made in the USA and are designed to be installed with minimum amount of work. You should be able to primer them and paint them with very little body work. I had them built without any holes because every one does things differently. You can use the factory carriage bolts or use polished button head bolt and washer for a cleaner look.

My goal was/is to build a quality part that would be economically feasible for the guys that don't have the tools, skill, or time to do it themselves.

Initial price will be $500/set + shipping for the standard size. I am currently about 2 weeks out once your tubs have been paid for. I will continue to work on inventory to shorten this time.

I will also be offering a 4" wider than stock set for people wanting to run 15" wide wheels and tires. These will be the same design as the current ones, but will be able to accommodate a bigger wheel and tire. The 4" wider ones will be $575/set (+ shipping) and will be built to order after they have been paid for.

I prefer PayPal, robhartley@aol.com, but will work with you on payment if you prefer another payment method. When you order please indicate, standard or 4" wider in the header.

If you have and specific questions, please post in this thread. You can also text me at 850-291-0499 or email me at robhartley@aol.com.

Look good Rob.. Did you have extra material put on the wheel side for those elusive rocks that love to "star" the glass??

Thanks Darren. They are about a 1/4" thick (6.35 mm) and weigh around 11 lbs (5 Kgs) apiece, . I plan on spraying the underside with some ruberized coating just for added protection. LMK!

Here’s a pic of me fitting them in on my 63. I’ll post another pic later of them finished I have no idea why my pic is sideways.
