67 Stepper

Scored this one Friday for a good price! Now I finally have enough sheetmetal and parts between the two 67's I have to make one good one. It also came with an extra set of good doors, a 78 Suburban crossmember with discs, swaybar and an extra 5 lug rear axle. I plan on keeping it 6 lug for now but I'll have what I need if I decide to go to 5 lug later.

The whole front clip is really solid and straight, that's what I really bought it for. It has recently had cab mounts and rockers replaced on passenger side. It also came with 2 cab corners, driver side cab mounts, inner and outer rockers. Plus it already had the 78 front crossmember under it with disc brakes. I see where CPP sells the aftermarket rotors that are 6 lug that's supposed to work on the 78 setup. I may just swap my cab and bed over to this frame, because it will save me alot of work. Because the frame horns were cut on my other 67 for front roll pans and I was planning on a disc brake upgrade anyways.

Re: 67 Stepper

That's a great find. If you want 6-lug discs there are better companies than CPP. I always see bad stuff about them on the Review Board and just avoid them. I wouldn't want to chance shoddy brake rotors
