exhaust manifold heat shield

Are those rivets that attach the heat shield to the manifold? What size are they and where do you get them? Do you hammer them in? Thanks, Al

They are a sort of spiral rivet:



I've never had to buy them as I've been able to reuse mine, sometimes by using a cold chisel on them to "restore" the spirals to create a tight fit. A high temperature, stud-locking style of Loctite may also work.
