Best tire for 20's - All corners same size

Hi all,

Simply put, what tire size fits, no stagger. Simply all 4 tires on a typical 8.5" wide rim. That doesn't rub inside or out.

Hoping to get rid of the guessing game by asking folks who have been through it before. Thanks

Re: Best tire for 20's - All corners same size

I have a friend that's running 20"x8.5" TT2s on all 4, don't know the backspace though, but he has Falken 275/45 on them. He wanted to be able to rotate them properly Hope this helps at least a little bit

I have Toyo Proxes STII on mine. My fronts are 255/40R20 on a 4.5" lowered 69. I haven't had any issues with clearance.

I have the same on my '71 with 3.5" drop (spindle and 1" drop spring). I occaisionally snag a fender bolt on the front but no problems on the rear, you might want to go a little lower profile on the tire depending on your drop. Falken Ziex tires on Discount Tire Direct Old Skool 20's. Nice tires, wheels and price.
