you should be more specific as the lca on the c20`s are different than the c10. are you working on a c10 or 20?
i found out about the difference the hard way so now i got a set of c20 lca sitting in my shed doing nothing

I did not know that. I'm taking a 4wd 1972 blazer and converting it to 2wd. I guess I would need a C10 then?

A C20 lower control arm has a larger hole for the ball joint

So it does not matter which crossmember I get, as long as I know what ball joint size I'm dealing with?

Pretty much, although the C20 crossmember has a different mounting tab for the front brake lines (a C10 front rubber brake hose will not fit into the C20's mounting tab)

You can actually use a crossmember from 71-87, same with the a-arms (as long as you get the matching spindles and center link items)

c20 lower arms work with c20 balljoints that work with c20 8-lug spindles.
You need to buy a c10 assembly to make you life easier.

Or you can purchase an aftermarket crosmember like a Porterbuilt Dropmember.

I have a 71 crossmember & UCA's/LCA's, but it'd be a small fortune for shipping.

Not a bad deal. It would run more at a junkyard.
