Think this is a GMC Street Coupe?

It is hard to tell from the picture if it says street coupe on the bed. I know the bumpers are wrong and it looks like the hood doesn't match but it appears to have a Street Coupe emblem.

Weren't the hoods on those a different color with stripes on the sides? I think that might be one. Looks like the remnants of the stripes on the hood above the headlamps.

Re: Think this is a GMC Street Coupe?

Jonboy, I can't tell if the hood is correct or not but appears to have the Street Coupe hood ornament. The thing that is throwing me is it doesn't have the right bumpers. Hopefully 80Sport will chime in!

If it is a sierra grande (all street coupes were sierra grandes)that would give you a good indication;also if you look under the hood you should be able to see the masking for the 2 tone if it was done at the factory.I assume there is no spid in glovebox or build sheet under seat.As you note the bumper is wrong...I cannot see enough detail on stripes to confirm if they are correct.

It is a Sierra Grande. Don't know on the spid or build sheet. It is a photo someone sent me. The stripes are correct but I can't see if they say Street Coupe on the bed or not. I am pretty sure the hood emblem says Street Coupe but somehow the picture is degraded from the picture that was sent to me when I put it on here.
