Heinz69 truck build
Like the title says this 69 is going to be a mix breed of truck that i know will offend some and excite others!!!!
Here it is a 1969 c10 (body) with a 1984 blazer (frame) with a bit of 2000 silverado (seats) 1998 chev (engine) and this is what you get.. |

Re: Heinz69 truck build
Cool. I'm in. I will stick around and see how it turns out.
Years and many cars ago I put a 53 Chevy 5 window cab truck on a blazer frame. It came out pretty good.

Re: Heinz69 truck build
i plan to make them the front cab mounts are in the same spot the rad mounts are out a bit but no big deal to fab something for that . the rear cab mounts are going atop the frame should all work with a 3 inch body lift right now everything clears with 2x4 blocks separating the cab from the frame i will take lots of pics as i mount the body to the frame

Re: Heinz69 truck build
so i got my box off and pulled my engine and took my tires off my 69 frame, now i have a 69 frame sitting in my back yard with a 84 silverado front clip on it so it has power steering and disc brakes and 5 bolt rear axles . what should i do with it is it just scrap metal or is it worth anything. i would hate to just chuck it but i dont know if they are a dime a dozen or not

Re: Heinz69 truck build
so some will cry with the next pics started cutting up my original 1969 rust free long box into a super short 73 in short box
my idea is to do the weld on the edge of the front of the box to avoid bondo. |
