Anyone know US Radiator?

My mate Martin and I are both in the market for new ally radiators.

Unfortunately they are too large to fit in our baggage so we need to use the usual channels.

Here in the UK there are guys who bring in stuff at"Dollar for Pound" prices that include duties at 24% of value and shipping plus shipping.
So a $200.00 radiator is yours for £200.00 which today is around $312.03 to collect at the depot or add in courier to home address.

Anyway, I had decided on a Champion rad, but he says he imports US Radiators brand.

Any opinions, knowlege of quality etc.

yes! just bought and installed a copper/brass heavy duty..4-row "4-core" radiator from U.S. Radiator. very happy with the product!!!! looks factory. but a bit pricy.i believe I paid $635.00 delivered. but then again its quality!!!!

Yes I have used US Radiator on a 32 Ford and a 38 Ford for modern V-8 applications. They worked great and I plan to use them on this build also.

I believe Champion radiators are made in China.

If you want an aluminum radiator I would check into Entropy radiators or The RnD Fabrication radiators. Both are forum vendors and can be found in the Vendors marketplace here on the forum. I believe both are made in the USA.

nothing wrong with champion i had one in my 350 HP chevelle .... and also had one in my big block 502 HP 55 belair with a 250 HP shot of NOS lol both of them never over heated . i will soon be running one in my 65 c10 aswell ... always run a good quality fan and shroud and you cant go wrong

I think you may be right, interestingly, if you go onto their website and read the "about us" type stuff, they write about ISO certification plant etc but not actually what country, so it could be Outer Mongolia for all we know.

However, loads of positive feedback from actual users, which is why I wanted one, along with a sensible price landed in the UK

I will not be going to dream levels of power, but firstly just need a replacement radiator for the one I am removing.

It will ultimately be about finding the right compromise between quality and price, as well as availability in the UK.
