Very nice LWB (bed and tail-gate) 69 GMC

Sorry, it is not near perfect except for the bed sides, but a very straight bed. The tail-gate is also same condition. If you are restoring a 68-72, this is the bed and tail-gate for you. It has had a drop-in bed liner for years. I am located near OKC and could deliver within 200 miles for a reasonable charge. $300 obo might do some trading on sbc performance parts...

Re: near perfect LWB (bed and tail-gate) 69 GMC

I am interested but not sure about the shipping/ transporting. I hate to spend more on shipping then the price of the bed but might still be worth it. Do you have anymore detailed pictures? Thanks

I am guessing the shipping will be at $500 + since I can not make the trip myself so if you need it then I will let you have 1 chance at it but I am interested if it does not work out

The tailgate alone is worth the asking price

LWB (bed and tail-gate) 69 GMC

Here's the dirty. I pulled the over-the-rails bed-liner out of the bed yesterday and took a bunch of pictures. The bed is great, the bed floor has pitting and a few holes (in the floor) that I have no idea why someone would have drilled at the rear. I could not find any area where it is rusted through. I found one place in the bed that looks like a pin hole, but doesn't look like corrosion. I have a bunch of pictures to download. Both top rails have been drill for a camper or ? The wheel wells are almost perfect. Look at the quarters, no rust. If you have any questions, I will be more than happy to answer. I will take a reasonable offer, but don't be crazy, we all know what a decent bed is worth. Thanks in advance...

Re: near perfect LWB (bed and tail-gate) 69 GMC

anything that in the floor that looks like rust is surface and pitting. 2 very small dime size dings left rear quarter seen in picture. And a small ding at the right rear near the bumper, also in picture. Small dent in lower front of bed where paint is peeling and surface corrosion.

Re: near perfect LWB (bed and tail-gate) 69 GMC

I will have to pass for now. I would like to have it and the price is amazing but it is the shipping that is the killer. If anybody knows a way to get this bed to Indiana with less then $600 shipping charges then I am interested in knowing. Thanks for the pictures. Someone is going to get a great deal.

I will look today when I get home. Is there a chance GMC has a different color code? Seems like it was 4 digits. It did say Olive, but I don't recall if it said Dark Olive.

4 seemed very interested until I posted the pictures today of the bed floor. It is a good bed.

Waiting to hear someone say "I'll take it".

GMC code should be same 3 digits.
I checked '69 paint sheets and only find 505 dark green as being offered. 506 dark olive poly does not show up until '70. I hope I'm wrong because I wanted to use the bad as is patinaed on our truck. Let me know what you find.
