1976 foolery...
Already had the blue 76, but I didn't like the front bumper and I know the front fenders weren't mint.
So, I've watched this guy trying to sell this 76 for close to a year. Took the wife for a 45 minute drive to try to buy the bumper, he was dead set against it. But, he wanted to sell the truck as is. We struck a deal for $400.00, and he even delivered it for $20.00. 350 auto, runs good. All body work done but the paint job he sprayed needs to be redone. But the fenders and the hood are good, and going on the blue one. The new bumper looks better, and I like the guards to be honest. She is also wearing her 1976 Alberta plate. The blue one goes to my Grandson in 9 years, and I'm thinking of keeping the orange cab for Papa's Orange Crush. A project name I thought up, I have a few plans, and a few years to gather parts. Oh, and finish my 1960... Here's what my dog thinks of the idea. I suspect he listens to the Wife more than me, since he also pissed on my 60 doors and hood. |
