Steering wheel issues please help
Okay so I just bought an original steering wheel for a 1968 chevy c10, and I was going to put it on today. My old steering wheel works perfectly fine but I am trying to go for an original look. Okay so before I took the old wheel off, the horn had worked perfectly fine. I unhooked that wheel and put the new factory wheel on the same way the other came off. The horn did not work at all no matter what I tried. I then tested the horn and it did work, so I put the old steering wheel back on and the horn worked with it again. Does anyone have pictures of a factory 67/68 steering wheel inside so I can see if I am missing anything? Anyone have a diagram on what the inners should look like set up? Anyone have a factory 67/68 wheel currently on their car that they do not mind taking photos of he inside of the wheel and the inside of the horn button? Thank you. I need to know fast as I need to get the car inspected and I'd like to have this original wheel on instead of the 78-81 camaro wheel that was on it.
