Some Lucky Guy

So I was about to buy a 67 factory stakebed when it got sold out from under me. So if whom ever bought it might be on here and reads this just know its a rare truck and shouldn't have the bed removed for any other bed type.

There were only 1490 ish of them made in 67, the 327 and th400 are stock. Please don't gut it and use the parts for another truck, the truck was in Enumclaw.

Re: Some Lucky Guy

I really just hope it doesn't become another one of those lets chop it up trucks. I get tired of reading about someone buying a longbed but then chops it up to make a shortbed. Buy the GD shortbed in the first place!!!

But that's just me...Kids don't give a crap about saving anything that's why there is so much junk for sale because they screwed up trying to modify it in the first place.

Re: Some Lucky Guy

I can't tell someone how to modify their vehicle, and I don't have to praise the finished project, either. Years ago, I gave my then-wife a '68Norton Fastback for a wedding anniversary gift. After we got divorced, she sold it- and the new owner repainted it, and then let it sit and deteriorate. Not much I could say about it, and the new owner wouldn't sell. At least they didn't chop it or bob-job it. Dammit.

Re: Some Lucky Guy

Dan, hi, from across the bridge.

Wow small world on here. Seems to be a LOT of King/Pierce county C10 owners around here!

Sorry to hear. If it makes you feel any better, I drove in traffic, 4.5 hrs, x 2.... 9 hours in the car for pile of DUNG 72 Cheyenne in Portland.

Drove there and back for nothing.
