anybody got an origonal exuast system?

I have a 72 c10 longbed fleet with a 307 3 speed on the column.

all origonal.

I need a new exhuaste system all origonal

Not too sure what parts are origonal and which are replacement

I am looking for images of the y pipe , the intermediate pipe, and the muffler and tail pipe and any brackets and clamps. That way I know what parts are keepers.

My muffler is from an 80's K car. the wires are from a laundramat hangar...or two

Re: anybody got an origonal exuast system?

I've seen brochures that show pictures of the complete chassis with no body and I believe possibly pictures in shop manuals. I guess it's possible to find a truck with original exhaust, but any original exhaust systems I have ever had are hard to tell apart from the rest of the dirt under the truck

Re: anybody got an origonal exuast system?

So it isn't "all original" then? :-)

Section 8 of the FSM (factory service manual) has really good reference information. To generalize, the original exhaust was a welded assembly in 72 and the service parts were intended to be assembled as needed. As such there are lots of directions on how to assemble the exhaust and respective clearances.
