Door Lock Dilemma
Did the factory install the door handles so that the key would be inserted teeth up or down when the lock was in the vertical position? I wonder if my handles are mixed up with regard to left and right.

Re: Door Lock Dilemma
Teeth down... but they are interchangeable as mine had two different cylinders and only one key. Swapped them so I had a key to the drivers door.

Re: Door Lock Dilemma
I have the org ones on both doors (came with the custom comfort option) one is teeth down and one is with teeth up. correct me if wrong, but don't they fit only one way in the handle?

Re: Door Lock Dilemma
Mine fit better one way over the other. However, it seemed as though I may have been able to force it to take the opposite position.

Re: Door Lock Dilemma
You got that right Randy.....but now my truck is a "one key for all locks" vehicle. I took all of them... doors, glovebox, and ignition down to my local lock guy and got them all keyed alike. And, I got the tumblers with teeth down.
