fender interchange
hi I have heard a few different answers to this question, so I will ask the experts.
I have a 72 chevy c10 and the front fenders are rotten. I found a 69 gmc 1/2 ton with great fenders. will these bolt onto my 72 so I can use the 72 grille and hood? |

Re: fender interchange
Nope gmc fenders are the same as chevy 67-68 fenders. 69-72 chevy fenders are unique to chevy and those specified years.

Re: fender interchange
So if I got the whole clip, including rad support could I bolt it onto my truck and put the 72 grille in it? Would it be a noticeable difference?

Re: fender interchange
Yes you can make your 72 chevy a GMC by bolting the front dog house onto it but no you would have to use a GMC grill, or somebody correct me if i'm wrong but i think a 67-68 chevy grill will work fine EDIT: With thr GMC doghouse..

Re: fender interchange
Yes it will, but he will still have the wrong hood with both clips... he'll need a 67/68 core support and hood.

Re: fender interchange
so not worth my time. I wanted it to be a 72 not a 67. I have a 67 short box and wanted a 72 to go with it.
