Just got back from a drive

Installed new AC Delco molded rad hoses, along new heater hoses, so I had to take the truck out for a drive. First drive with plates on it since I bought it!

Tomorrow is tuning time.

Re: Just got back from a drive

lol, it was a leak that made me do the hoses. On the first shake down (unplated), the bottom rad hose started to spray down the passenger side of the block. Cooling system is sorted now. Looks like there is a bit of oil seeping out of the block where the distributor sits. No big deal, things could be worse!

Going to take it on a longer drive tomorrow to a buddy's place. I'll update...

Re: Just got back from a drive

Put 40 miles on it today. Trip to a gas station, then over to my buddy's place to pick up my timing light and dwell tach. He borrowed it for his 65 Willys.

Dogs just understand old trucks.
