Re: If someone is looking for a chopped truck...

Not a bad truck, but highly customized. It's going to take exactly the right buyer or a deep discount to move this one. Says it was a 20 year project and only put 800 some odd miles. Makes you wonder why?

It didn't improve the looks, it hurt it.

I love the 67-72 trucks a lot, but I have never seen one chopped that looks good.

I won't take that bet. Too much hacking to have to fix.

Re: If someone is looking for a chopped truck...

You should always lower a vehicle much more than you chop it. This is a classic case of the proportions being all wrong.
With better wheels and a proper stance at least it wouldn't scream "run the other way" from a distance.

Re: If someone is looking for a chopped truck...

I've seen several of our trucks chopped that look good. Weird how some of our tastes differ from others ... period.

There was a member here ages ago that had a pretty cool (IMO) blue one. Good proportions all around. Like others have said, when you chop em you really need to have the correct stance, and probably a short bed.

Whatever though ... to each their own

I hope they find the person responsible for chopping the roof and they get put behind bars. "choppin the top" on a c10 is a crime and should not go unpunished!

Doubt you could navigate speed bumps with the side pipes so low, probably why so few miles since completed.

I think side pipes that stopped at the back of the door would look better.

I really dont like the way the rear is centered in the wheel well.
