5 80 lb oil pressure gauges

Here is (5) 80 lb oil pressure gauges. One is nice for $75.00 plus shipping, the other (4) are not as nice for $30.00 plus shipping.

I can and will change the ugly 80 lb faces for nicer looking 60 lb faces. You will still have an 80 lb gauge but it will have a 60 lb face. There is no difference in the faces except the part number. The middle of the face is 30 lb for a 60 lb gauge and 40 lb for a 80 lb gauge. If you want one with a nicer 60 lb face, I can sell them for $50.00 plus shipping.

I also have a NOS 60 lb oil gauge for $60.00 plus shipping and a new aftermarket vac gauge for $60.00 plus shipping

Thank you for looking,
Tom

Hi Tom, I thought it was "available " when I said I would take it.

Thanks.

Curious if you have any NOS or nice original workable temperature gauges?

Let me take a look at my inventory. I am not sure about a NOS but I should be able to set you up with a very nice working temp gauge.

I will look tomorrow when I am at my shop and let you know

Thank you,
Tom

Here you go Ryan,

I tested it for function and it works great. It is the best looking working temp gauge I have now. I am going to ask $27.50 for it shipped to your door.

Let me know if interested and I will send you a PM.

Thank you,
Tom

Re: 5 80 lb oil pressure gauges

Thanks for checking it for me! Looking at the pic is that overlay faded a bit? It seems like it is from the pic but maybe it was the glare or something. Isn't the "H" suppose to red as well as the block close to the H?? If it is faded is there anyway to paint it or what's the best way to make it look new again?

Thanks,
Ryan

Hi Ryan,

That is not really an overlay like we think of them. It is the factory silk screen that was done by the manufacture of the gauge back in 1972.

I can and will paint that area that is faded. Believe it or not, even some NOS gauges that I have had are faded in that area and not all of these gauges were red in the "hot" zone.

I will re post a photo after the paint work is done and you can decide from there.

Thank you,
Tom

Re: 5 80 lb oil pressure gauges

Will do thank you kindly! Also I'm wanting a tach for a v8. I'd rather have an oem or nos... I'm putting a big block with hei ignition. Are the original tachs going to be okay for this? Or what would you suggest?

Thanks,
Ryan

Here is a photo of the gauge with the hot zone painted. It will look much better in the cluster than it does in the photo.

I do not have any tachs at this time. Good working OE tachs are almost un heard of these days. They are just too old and will not work forever. If you find an NOS, they work great but expect some shelf wear and expect to pay no less than $250.00 for a well preserved one. The factory tachs will work with an HEI but you may want to use a filter. Look up a tach filter for a 1978 Camaro Z28 and that will work. It is simply a way to clean up the noise in the signal and make the tach work smoother.

Hope this helps. Let me know on the temp gauge. It is the best I have to offer at this time.

Take care,
Tom
