i'm about to buy ppg basecoat clearcoat,do i need to buy the reducer and hardener to put in the base coat? if so whats the fomula to add reducer and hardener to the basecoat.

Mike, the paint store will tell you. Basecoat needs a reducer. The clear needs an activator usually. Follow the recommendations.

ppg is great paint, but they also own the omni company which they sell omni paint, same exact paint as ppg, just different packaging and for half the price
