Help identifying motor
Sorry I'm a little new to these old trucks and have been just soaking up as much as I can as I prepare to build my 52. I'm about to pull the motor to put in a 350 but had a question on if it's a 216 or 235. It definitely has the 216 intake manifold stamped GM 3835527. But I can't find the motor online. It's stamped just below the dipstick and starter N326475C AL. Any help or direction on where I can find it would be great. I have done my searches but coming up blank. Thanks again.

Re: Help identifying motor
I'm not an expert at all, but I think there should be a casting number just to the left of the number you showed in the photo. That casting number should tell you what it is. There is a shorter sequence of letters and numbers , that is the date code. At least that's how it was on my 235.
