Rams horns ?
I was at a swap meet today and a couple had some rams horns laying around that I think I could have picked up on the cheap. My question is: Are there different sizes? I kept staring at them and thinking I had seen somewhere online that there were a couple different sizes and didn't want to buy something that wouldn't fit my truck. There is another swap meet next month and would like to go back informed so any info would be great!

Re: Rams horns ?
I'm sure the ones with 2.5" outlets will hit the left side motor mount "clam shell" on 73-87 trucks, but I'm not sure about the 2" versions. I did see a picture of a clam shell someone had notched to clear a rams horn manifold.

Re: Rams horns ?
If I am not mistaken on a 2wd you can move the motor back and make them work, but I thought I read that on a 4wd (which is what I have) they fit. I might be mistaken though.

Re: Rams horns ?
There are at least 3 different "Ramhorn" style of OEM cast exhausts. The 2" center exit was common on Corvettes with a carb, and the 2.5" were specific to the mid 60s FI motors. The 2.5" will work on a 2wd 73-87 as I have a set on my 77 Cheyenne.
