Adj Trac Bar Vs. Homemade?

I know some of ya'll have fabbed your own trac bars instead of buying the adjustable one. I'm lowering 5" in the rear, so I know I'll need it. Is it worth the lack of headache to just buy the adjustable?

side note: It seems like all I am doing to my truck is ordering parts and bolting them on. I'm starting to miss the feeling of making things myself (even tho it usually is easier to just buy the part). I think I'd really like to just make the darn thing work by cutting it up and rewelding it together.

Tips/ tricks?

Thanks
Piper

well you can try to fab your own only problem is if it doesn't hold up during the stress of cornering or a high speed manuver you risk of trashing your rear fenders or bedsides ,worse yet the truck flips, worser than worse you do hospital or cemetary time YOUR CHOICE !!
