Maybe twins if one took steroids lol. Just finished putting my new mini starter in the brown 71(old one crapped out). Took it for a shake down(mostly to get spiders shook off, but its one of them things, if you put a new part on one of these trucks, I feel they must be test drove. I.e. put new tags on license plates, take it for a drive lol). Parked it next to my 72 grande. Figured it was worth a few pictures.

Nice trucks. The brown one makes the Sierra 3/4 ton tool like a baby.

I see two equally strong trucks that totally compliment each other. So how long has it needed a starter? I'm ashamed to admit my '72 K2500 has been on jack stands since May for what started out as a frozen caliper/gouged rotor. It would have been fixed and on the road back then but it turned into a big "while I'm at it". I picked up my Christmas tree in it and now it's sitting all summer!

Actually the day it wouldn't start, I ordered a new one so it was only sitting for 3-4 days. But don't get me wrong, my yellow 70 needs brake lines bad and its been sitting a while now. I plan on parting my longhorn and putting the good stuff under the 70. Gotta love projects
