Drop spindles for a 86 C20 4X2 Silverado

Gentlemen I'm ready to order my parts for my static drop on my 1986 C20 Chevy Silverado, 5.7L, 700r4,4X2, Standard Cab, Brown and tan in color. My Vin. has a L in it.

I have contacted several vendors and I'm have trouble finding drop spindles for this C20, 8 lug truck. I have done the search and see I need to use C30 spindles I think ??. If I have to change out brake rotors that would be OK because mine are in need of replacement.(very thin)
So Help, Thank you Ken

Get C30 drop spindles, and swap out your calipers with new brake lines.

Everything else is the same.

Or you can buy C20 drop spindles from POL and bolt everything up.

Order my parts today from Western Chassis. Front drop spindles, drop springs, 4 drop shocks, rear hanger kit. I already had a new shackles installed. I'll show the goodies as they arrive. And before & after pics.

These parts where not cheap, anyone wanting to drop a C20. Make sure you have your penny's saved.

Hey Ken - how did you get on with Western Chassis..?

I was recommended POL for the drop spindles for my 77 C20, but would be good to know if there's an alternative.

Thanks

Drop shocks wouldn't be needed with spindles alone, would they?

What C30 spindles would work well? If I end up doing a drop sometime I wonder whether it's worth converting to get better brakes (I'm putting discs on the rear).

I bought everything I needed from them. Drop spindles, drop frt. springs. Rear spring hangers, I already had the shackles. And four drop shocks. The parts came with all the correct hardware. I'm currently doing the install now, while waiting on my trans to arrive. I'm happy so far, no complaints.
