Steering wheel to match factory woodgrain

I've been thinking about getting a wood grain steering wheel for my truck (1971 GMC) but I have a problem. I've been looking at pictures online but can't really figure out what would match the woodgrain on the door panels. Does anybody know what its supposed to be, walnut, mahogany, or something else? Or better yet does anybody have a wheel that they know matches really well and can give me some info on it? I'm just trying to avoid getting a wheel that looks really out of place next to the existing wood.

I like my Grant wheel in Walnut and put the GMC button on it. Just like the one in the second link.

Re: Steering wheel to match factory woodgrain

Thats a nice looking wheel but it looks a lot lighter than the door panel woodgrain.

Maybe one of these is close to the colour you are wanting.

Re: Steering wheel to match factory woodgrain

Those seem to be a lot closer to what I'm looking for as far as color goes for sure.
